OVERVIEW
Prior to joining Tuthill & Hughes, I practiced at a national law firm and a large regional law firm representing clients in high-asset domestic relations cases. My work included resolving divorce proceedings with substantial business interests, trusts and investment portfolios, as well as negotiating and drafting sophisticated marital agreements. Through this experience, I realized a passion for guiding families through significant personal and financial transitions.
Today, my practice centers on advanced estate planning strategies, thoughtfully designed marital agreements, and charitable planning. My background in domestic relations continues to inform my approach, providing a practical and forward-looking perspective on wealth transfer planning, asset protection and risk allocation.
- Research a wide variety of estate planning and administration issues as they arise for our clients.
- Assist in drafting estate plans for our client, including trusts, wills and other estate planning documents.
- Work with financial planners and family offices to help meet clients’ long-term objectives.
- Counsel a client on benefits of premarital planning, and draft and negotiate a premarital or marital agreement.
- Analyze strategies and advise clients on charitable gifting.
- Explore the mountains of Colorado, my home state, with my husband and young daughter.
