OVERVIEW
I partner with private clients to identify and understand each client’s intentions, goals, and intended legacies, to create and implement an appropriate plan that effectuates the unique priorities of my client. In addition to advising on and preparing wills and incapacity-planning documents, I assist my clients in establishing and reorganizing structures that incorporate the use of trusts, family-owned business entities, life insurance, intrafamily agreements, and post-mortem tax planning where appropriate.
I have been practicing law for more than a decade and spent my career exclusively focused on high- and ultra-high-net worth tax planning, estate planning and administration, and trust administration. My work is meaningful to me on many levels—the ever-changing tax landscape keeps it fresh and intellectually stimulating, while the individualized and personal nature of estate planning and administration provides me with a deep sense of purpose and meaning. I find special meaning in working with non-traditional families and individuals to address their unique tax and estate planning circumstances.
I am thrilled to have joined Tuthill & Hughes following rewarding and career-developing roles with the estate planning group of a large, full-service law firm, and as a tax, trust, and estate planning consultant. Working in this boutique setting allows me to focus intently on each client engagement and to provide the high level of client service that was instilled in me by my previous career in James Beard award-winning and Michelin-star restaurants.
